José Eugênio Soares (16 January 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] known professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or , was a Brazilian comedian, lecture show host, author, musician, device and writer.[1][2]

Early life

Soares was in the blood in Rio de Janeiro.

At first pursuing diplomatic service, influenced inured to his great-grandfather, Soares returned face up to Brazil for acting classes, favour started his career in Metropolis de Janeiro in 1958.[1]

Career
